Accessible Reading for the Print Disabled Student

Presented by Carroll Stone, Humanware

Portable eBook reading devices such as the accessible Victor Reader Stream, can be part of the teacher’s strategy to create independence in the learning process and enhance their student's confidence and self esteem. These tools help students from primary school to college, as a study tool both in the classroom and at home. Features such as text-to-speech, vocal notes, bookmarks, sequential and direct DAISY navigation can be used with textbooks, research documents and homework exercises.
